Great location. Easy access for the town centre. Less than a 10 minute walk to the train and bus services.
Friendly staff. Lovely food, breakfast served every morning. A great choice from the menu. Always freshly served and hot. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Twin room. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There was even an iron with an ironing board and a travel hairdryer! The beds were super comfy. No backache at all during our stay!

Mevagissey is great but the accommodation was poor, bedding was stained and dirty and the owners are refusing to acknowledge it . This cottage owners are not good hosts . The bedding was filthy, the mattresses are so old and need to change

The town was quaint and full of history and character, very narrow streets not good for driving. The Pubs (Ship Inn) was excellent including the food if a bit pricey. The restaurants were excellent (Salamander and Polkirk One )Not cheap but good value for money. Very hilly trying to get out of town centre if you're old or athsmatic.Don't book a hotel up Polkirk Hill it's very steep.

Lovely little village and well worth a visit! It has several really good pubs and restaurants. We’ve only ever been in October but I’m sure it would be lovely during the summer! Small fishing port with hourly cruise options and fishing charters. Various gifts shops, clothes shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. Access is via narrow roads but there is a lot of parking. Restaurants are mainly mid and high end with main courses roughly £15.00 upwards. Plenty of fish and chips and burgers, sandwich and pasty shops. Plenty of great views from harbor and surrounding countryside.

Picturesque harbour village, plenty of places to eat out if you book early, the Salamander was our favourite. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Lovely to walk around very narrow streets. Brilliant little coves and beaches nearby, along coastal path walks.Brian

We really appreciated the quality of the lighting in the room. Very often hotel rooms particularly bathrooms have poor lighting. Helen was an excellent host and the staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice to be in a working port and share the dining room with the local fisherman having their morning coffee.

It was the perfect room for this as it had doors that opened straight out onto the garden so we had access as soon as we needed it. The position of the property is beautiful and peaceful though be prepared for a very, very steep walk back to the hotel from Mevagissey harbour. We very much appreciated the complimentary cream tea and the garden view is one to beat!

Tina and her husband worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. not sure about other rooms but ours had a small high level window, you could see out of it but the room and bathroom were spotless. We would definitely stay there again. highly recommended.
