Great location, tucked away with great outlook, the room was beautifully clean and a lovely welcome basket of goodies were left to welcome you. There were only 3 rooms at the bottom of a fabulous house and they were beautifully appointed.

The place is a great vacation place. We enjoyed staying at this place because we have privacy and good neighborhood as well. There are coffee shops and grocery stores close by. I recommend this place if you want to go to Ucluelet and Tofino.

The entry to Ucluelet from the Tofino side is not welcoming at all. It’s a bit run down. But that shouldn’t put you off because there are some nice places to eat, a good bakery, and amazing walks. The Wild Pacific Trail is a must. Also, as you get deeper into Ucluelet it is less rundown. They should work on that first impression though.

Ukee is a great little town.
Ukee is a great little town. Although we bought a piece of art there, it offers much wilderness than shopping opportunities.
In addition to its unpretentious charm, Ukee offers a more pocket-friendly experience than its neighbour, Tofino, in our experience (although everything is more expensive here than the rest of Vancouver Island.)
However, both places have incredible beaches and forests, and bookend the National Park with a trail between the two towns.
Just be warned that the last part of the highway is an adventure before you decide to turn left to go to Ukee or right to go to Tofino.
I loved driving it with my "Mario Andretti" mindset, which wasn't that pleasant for my husband, LOL.
It's windy, narrow, and bumpy in parts, and if you have a slow poke in front of you (which we had on the way back), it can be incredibly frustrating.

I loved Ucluelet a whole lot more than Tofino, it isn't as touristy and "plastic", like the difference between Banff and Jasper, I always prefer the place closer to nature. Maybe doesn't have all the sandy beaches, but one can easily drive to it. I'd love it if the information about the length of the walks to beaches etc. were more clear, even on the hike, like where we are now and how long to go etc. Beauty in abundance, I loved every minute of it, I remembered it from 10 years ago and it was even better now. I'd love to come back for more and be able to just sit and listen to the ocean. Please, please don't let it become Tofino where you can't enjoy what rightfully belongs to the public without paying more than you can afford! I love Ucluelet! <3

Ukee is great place to visit any time of the year.
Ukee is great place to visit any time of the year. The beaches are more rugged than Tofino which makes for dramatic storm watching on windy days. There are some good restaurants and a grocery store, liquor store etc. If you're looking for raging night life, this is not the place. If you're into being outside, it's great. There are tons of trails, beaches and lookouts to explore.

Loved the proximity to the ocean.
Loved the proximity to the ocean. Great hiking trails in the area and quite a few good restaurants. Enjoyed the low key, unpretentious vibe. We aren’t surfers but it looks like a fantastic place to surf.
The owners (Teo and George) are incredible hosts. They go above and beyond what a typical chain hotel/motel provides and it makes one feel at home. Good location. The bed is incredibly comfy and the room has everything a person or family would need. If we ever go to Ucluelet again, this is the place we would want to stay at !!! Bravo - good to see the smaller operators in the accommodation business outperform the bigger chains.
One of the nicest places I’ve stayed at on my trip.
- Very clean room with a pretty view for every room.
- Very hospitable staff, whom I found accommodating.
- Parking availability was awesome.
- Close by to groceries and restaurants in town. 5-7 mins away from any trail start point. Around 30 minutes away from Tofino (town); between 15-20 from the beaches. Excellent location overall.
I’ve stayed here before and it’s a lovely spot - great location, beautiful views and so far, all the rooms I have stayed in have been great. It’s a luxury to walk out of the hotel into a 4km trail along the coastline. I have had some wonderful meals at the Currents restaurant as well.
I liked the quality touches, like yummy smelling locally made soaps and bathroom amenities. The place is bigger than the pictures look too. Great parking right by the door, and its location is very central to most areas of Ucluelet. Cozy and comfortable definitely.
The apartment was centrally located within Ucluelet, with exceptional facilities and very welcoming hosts. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Ucluelet. The hot tub and sauna were great additions to our amazing stay.
This is a newly refurbished hotel with about 5-6 rooms. In the front is a gourmet restaurant that was worth eating at. The room is spacious, including a wonderful bathroom. There is breakfast in the room each day, coffee and tea as well.
The house is great and fulfills all needs for vacation in Ucluelet. It's clean and comfortable. It's walking distance from the start of the Wild Pacific Trail - Lighthouse Loop, which is the most famous part.
Convenient location -- near the Ucluelet Harbour; Marina view is beautiful after sunset. Staff very friendly and willing to help me resolve issues. Free Internet connection and Free parking on the property.
The location was stunning and easy to get everywhere. The rooms were all very clean as well as the tub outside! The view was spectacular. The staff vey friendly. Love that this place is pet friendly!
Perfect location we enjoyed three different restaurants all within a 2 minute walk of the hotel. Also, they provided a nice large, clean room it was perfect for what we were looking for.
The bed was super comfortable, spacious room, great views (we paid for a partial view), the bathroom was lovely. Front desk staff were great, loved the cookies! Short walk into Ucluelet.
Beautiful location. Beautiful clean rooms.
Staff non existent
Room needs microwave
Path to rooms gravel with hills and steps. If elderly, sick or handicapped may consider another hotel
The location overlooking a fresh water estuary at low tide across the bay from Ucluelet was spectacular. We saw eagles fishing and drinking fresh water from the stream twice a day .
