Lovely Georgian country house. The staff were friendly and in the main efficient and polite. They worked hard on a busy Valentine evening and we felt well looked after (But see below). Bed comfy and the restaurant food was very well presented and of a high quality. Drinks menu good and wine list reasonable and good overall.

Good location and bar & restaurant staff were excellent. Reception staff showed no acknowledgement we were standing waiting to be attended to. The swimming pool, changing rooms, showers and some public areas require serious refurbishment or reduce the price of the rooms !

I live in the area stayed in maidstone Great Danes as kept it local for a Hen night. Why go elsewhere when we have plenty of options on the doorstep. Great Danes hotel fitted our needs with the Bingo Loco night there. Maidstone has plenty to do, and places to visit and stay.

Rather fed up being asked to complete reviews for this Hotel. It's like having a beautiful girl keep asking if she is pretty! This Hotel has on every occasion I have stayed exceeded my expectations and has been good value for money, The Friendly staff make the difference with nothing being too much trouble. Add a decent breakfast to the mix and excellent pool etc, what else could you want. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately Maidstone has been ruined by some awful planning decisions. The shopping has degraded thanks to the challenges for towns nowadays. Maidstone is a particularly bad sufferer. It’s a mess. The far end of Week street is a place to be sure to avoid.AAnonymousAustralia

The owners have thought of everything you may need during your stay and made it available. They are friendly, warm and helpful. I completely enjoyed my chats with both Belinda and Sabin. Just a short walk to trains, restaurants, shopping, the river and beautiful historic churches and buildings. I made the trip to Maidstone specifically to stay at Stone Court House. I'm glad I did. The owners have done a magnificent job of restoring this lovely old property to its former glory. The room are HUGE. Everything is spotlessly clean. There are large and comfortable common areas to work, relax and eat. There is a relaxed and friendly vibe - the owners live in the back of the property. There for you if you need help but otherwise you are left to enjoy the place in privacy. Excellent place.
